DEPARTMENT OVERVIEWOur department was established in 1988, committed to nurturing diverse interdisciplinary talents. We specialise in physical therapy for musculoskeletal, neurological and cardiopulmonary systems from infant, child, adolescent, adult to elderly people. We have also achieved significant breakthroughs in the field of assistive technology, including assistive devices, 3D printing, and virtual reality. This makes our department the only one in Taiwan that combines “physical therapy” and “assistive technology”. |
FEATURES OF CURRICULUM
We implemented the undergraduate education programme as a “Six-Year Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Bachelor’s Degree Programme” in 2016.
Our program cultivates advanced physical therapy and administrative leadership expertise, enhancing our university’s contribution in international physical therapy education.
